Kick’s Picks of the Week – NFL 2013 Week 2: Back to Fundamentals

image

So week 1 is long and gone. What have we learned? For the most part the fans were ready for football – but as luck would have it – the players weren’t. I can’t tell you the last time I heard about a safety but never fear in week 1 you had safeties galore. And let’s not forget to mention how many defenses were completely powerless to stop the passing game of their opponents. So is it any easier to pick teams in week 2? Most definitely not. That is why we play the game. If everything was so clear cut, well, then it wouldn’t be any fun.

Week 2 has presented us with many a great teams fighting not to drop to 0 and 2. Well week 2 is not exactly a must win situation it will help show which teams have the fighting spirit early on. Will the usual suspects fall to yet another loss or will they surprise everyone and be better than we all think they are?

Watch out for those rookie quarterbacks this week as a couple of them, if not all of them, will win this week.
